Selling through creativity

One of the areas of advertising that I’ve been interested in and worked on since the beginning of my career, over 15 years ago, is copywriting. I’ve used copy in a variety of ways throughout the years, from generating commercials to creating creative marketing plan presentations.

I’ve worked with agencies as well as directly with clients, writing copy for traditional ads (magazine ads, brochures, outdoor, etc.), digital ads, packaging, and video/audio scripts.

And, in most cases, my work went beyond simply writing text since, when I think of a concept, I’m also thinking of a creative way to sell something, so I also developed creative briefings for the creative team and worked closely with them, assisting and instigating their creativity down that road.
