It's all about the connections
D uring the course of the last years, I’ve worked on different projects, from different digital products, and in some cases specifically in the integration of these products with third parties tools.
Before the development team proceeded with any integration, my job was to study the need for that integration, how it could benefit our product, how the other system worked, how the integration could happen (mostly API or Webhooks), and finally, discuss with the developers the best ways to connect the two products/tools.
Here you can check a couple of examples:
Ileva Gestão
Ileva is an APP that is recreating the car insurance game. I was part of it’s team and worked in things like:
- Meeting with key customers to understand their demands on integrations with other products.
- Planning, testing and creating documentation on new integrations.
- Some integrations created by the time: Inbound Marketing Software, Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
Koopnow
I was the project manager in charge of Koopnow’s eCommerce development, and during the process, I had to manage the integration with other systems. So, I did:
- Gather information on the APIs documentation
- Plan how the integrations would work.
- Managed the development of the integration in the site backend with an ERP System, a payment gateway, a logistics system, and a fraud security system.
